Merge an SCP Dated timeline, not a fake changelog

Launch, badge creation, last listed update, and what to do when the lab reopens.

Patch Notes

This is the dated file for Merge an SCP. It is short on purpose. Merge Empire does not publish patch bullets, and this wiki will not write them from imagination. What follows is a timeline we can point at on Roblox, an explanation of Shut Down = Update, and a checklist you can run every time the experience reopens.

Parent hub: Updates Hub. Official listing: SCP Merge. Studio: Merge Empire.

Timeline we can defend

DateWhat actually happenedWhy it matters
13 September 2024Place 70386498457443 goes live as SCP Merge, a free Simulation / Tycoon.Start of the merge lab. Fan name Merge an SCP follows later in search.
21 October 2024Badges Tier1 through Tier15 are created.First public progress track. Rarity math on SCP Tiers begins here, not at launch.
10 June 2026Last listed Roblox update stamp.Newest dated event we will print. No bullet list is attached to this stamp.

Between those rows, the description has kept the same pitch: buy SCP-999, merge for higher tiers, buy weapons, unlock costumes and morphs, defend boss rounds, upgrade the facility, and treat shutdowns as updates. That pitch is the patch notes when the studio stays quiet.

We will not fill 2025 with guessed seasons. If a shutdown added a morph, a gun price, or a copy-count change and nobody stamped it, it belongs in live play notes (“observed”), not in this table.

What Shut Down = Update means on this title

The line is in the experience description, not a community meme. Operationally:

  • A shutdown is the deploy window.
  • The Roblox Updated field is the only public version number.
  • There is no official Trello, no patch tweet we will treat as canon, and no Discord we can print. See the Links Hub.
  • Duration is not a rarity signal. A two-minute kick can hide a shop tweak. A two-hour kick can hide nothing you will notice.

If friends say the game is “gone,” check the official URL before you write it off. Place ID 70386498457443, group Merge Empire. Clones die. This place has 7.5 million+ visits and 284,000+ favorites; a shutdown is cheaper to assume than a deletion.

Badge timeline versus content timeline

Launch day did not include the fifteen-tier badge track. Badges arrived on 21 October 2024, a little over a month later. That gap matters:

  • Anyone who merged in September 2024 may have climbed without a badge record.
  • Ever-awarded counts (about 3.17 million on Tier1 down to about 154 on Tier15) are counted from badge creation, not from place creation.
  • Rankings that treat badge age as “since launch” are off by five weeks.

If a future shutdown adds Tier16, this page will gain a row and SCP Tiers will gain a rank. Until that badge exists, do not play as if it does.

After-patch checklist

Run this in order. Skip a step only if you already verified it this session.

  1. Rejoin the real place. Use SCP Merge, not a sponsored clone with a similar 096 icon.
  2. Read the description. If Shut Down = Update vanished, or if a code line appeared, screenshot it and then open codes. No code was confirmed as of September 2026.
  3. Confirm the start unit. You should still buy SCP-999. If the shop start changed, stop merging from memory and open getting started.
  4. Count merge copies. Matching tiers still combine. Early rungs have often needed three copies; later rungs have often needed two. If a rung flipped, update the merge planner before you dump a wallet.
  5. Check the starter SMG tag. Observed price sits around 5,000 cash. Role ranking on weapon ranking stays even if the tag moves; the buy order may not.
  6. Open badges. Tier1–Tier15 should still be the track. Counts will have moved; ranks only move if a new badge exists.
  7. Walk the morph rack. Promo bodies (173, 682, 1048, 131) can appear without a new merge rung. Compare against the SCP roster.
  8. Survive one boss round on purpose. Do not spend Robux skips until you have lived a siren with the new shop. Boss rounds is the positioning page.
  9. Farm a short orb loop. If income feels broken, use farm cash before you blame the merge math.
  10. Only then buy later shop firearms or chase T10+.

If every step looks like yesterday, there is no patch for you to write home about. That is allowed. Shutdowns can be plumbing.

What this page will never include

  • Invented buff/nerf percentages.
  • Named guns that were not in the shop.
  • A Discord invite.
  • A fake 2025 season pass.
  • “Leaked” Trello screenshots.

When Merge Empire types a real changelog, we will quote it. Until then, the calendar above plus the checklist is the whole patch file. For the habit behind the calendar, stay on the Updates Hub. For the people who press the shutdown button, stay on Merge Empire.

Print the three dates if you print anything: 13 September 2024, 21 October 2024, 10 June 2026. Everything else is a shutdown you have to verify with your own shop. That is the honest patch-notes policy for a game whose patch notes are a power cut.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Merge an SCP questions.

Why are there no bullet-point patch notes?

Merge Empire does not publish them. This page only lists dated Roblox events. The habit is explained on the Updates Hub.

When did Merge an SCP launch?

13 September 2024, as [SCP Merge](https://www.roblox.com/games/70386498457443/SCP-Merge). Free tycoon, eight-player servers.

When were the tier badges added?

21 October 2024, covering Tier1–Tier15. Rarity tables on SCP Tiers use those badges, not the launch date.

What is the last listed update?

10 June 2026 on the Roblox updated stamp. Re-run the checklist after any later shutdown.

Should I redeem codes after a patch?

Check the codes hub and how to redeem. None were confirmed as of September 2026.

Where do I go if the shop looks new?

Rebuild from getting started, then how to merge. Do not copy an old buy order blindly.
